Nasi Ulam

Nasi Ulam Kukus

600g rice - clean and wash
200g grated coconut - remove skin / mix to water to obtain milk
1/2 cup water
1 clove garlic - bruise
1 pandan leaf (fragrant screwpine)- wash and make a knot
1 tsp salt

  • Boil rice in water to which salt has been added.
  • Add salt, garlic and pandan leaf to coconut milk and bring over low heat.
  • When rice is almost dry, add hot coconut milk and continue to cook over low heat till rice is dry.
